ROBERT PHILLIP SHARP

June 24, 1911-May 24, 2004

Bob Sharp passed away at his home in Santa Barbara. He graduated in geology from Caltech in 1934 and earned his PhD from Harvard in 1938. Bob was well known for his general audience books, including books for the Geology Underfoot series and his Field Guide to Southern California.
