Adjunct position at Sacramento City College
GEO HUB PostsAn M.S. in geology from an accredited school, and a love of working with young people/teaching & sharing your love of geology are the essential requirements.
There may be an urgent need to find someone quickly for a spring 2015 “geology 101” lab, one evening per week, class beginning sometime around 5 or 6 pm, at Sac City main campus. The laboratory logistics & curricular materials are already prepared.
Please contact Kathryn Stanton [cc’d above] ASAP, the SCC Department chair, if interested.
FYI – becoming qualified to teach at SCC extends privileges to American River, Folsom Lake and Cosumnes River Colleges, because all are part of the Los Rios Community College District.
I have taught “on the side” for close to 10 years, and it is a wonderful offset for the stress of my dayjob – and nice extra money. If you’ve ever thought of doing this – here’s a chance to get started.
Please pass this email along to anyone you know who might be qualified & interested in this.
